Activity 2 Listening to Different Kinds of Music
In a music appreciation class, students listen to different kinds (genres)
of music and learn to identify them. Follow the links below to listen a variety
of digital MIDI sound files.

over 14,000 files, this is claimed to be the largest remaining archive on
the Net. Search by letter of an artist's last name ( e.g. L for Jennifer
Lopez, T for Tina Turner) or a band's group name (e.g., B for The Beatles,
L for Linkin Park).

Dance Midi House http://www.exrock.com/midis.asp specializes in rock. Many artists. Suggestion: try Vengaboys' We Like to
Party
