$100 reward for learning to use the ESL lab
Mission College ESL Faculty:
Are you planning to teach in the ESL Lab? Are you curious about the features of the lab that help students improve their language skills?
Whether you are committed to using the ESL Lab or simiply wish to observe the possibilities, you are welcome to attend one of the following workshops. You will learn the fundamentals of using the lab and providing interactive learning with the Genesis lab system.
You will also find out how you can earn a $100 certificate for learning to use the fundamental features in your class.
Training sessions are open to all interested parties.To receive a $100 gift certificate to Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble, or MicroCenter, you must:
- Attend a three-hour training session in the lab
- Subscribe to the ESL lab e-list: [email protected]
- Establish a learning partnership with one or more other instructors.
- Demonstrate by Week 6 of the semester a list of competencies during
your ESL class
- List to be provided to applicants
- Demonstrate to one of your learning partners or Marsha Chan
- All training sessions are in the lab, room E2-401.

We will give up to ten awards to faculty Fall semester 2004*,.
