Hi, Pat!
This is a draft page to see what works, especially in E2-401
and the TC. Students said they were unable to hear the files.
These are .wav files.
When I tried them on several different Macs (OS X, OS 9), they
displayed as expected and the sounds played fine. The first set
(EMBED SRC) use Quicktime, I guess
When I tried to play the sounds Tues Oct 7 in E2-401, we did
not see the Quicktime control bars, and Windows Media player didn't
come up, either. When I played it on a PC in S1-501, Windows Media
player launched and played the files.
Now I am trying links instead. RealPlayer
launched on my office computer, and the .wav file was downloaded
to my HD. The sound quality is worse. For these two reasons, I
think I should avoid this method. I was trying it so that the
sound files would not have to come up before you could read the
page.
