A Study Plan - Answer Key
Suggested paragraph:
- A weekly study plan, which should include time for class,
time for study, time for review, time for work, and time for
recreation, can organize a student's time. A regular study place
with good lighting and few distractions is important, for it
can help a student's concentration. Each study session should
be approximately one hour; a break of about 10 minutes should
follow each study session. Daily studying should include reading
new material and a brief review of reading lecture notes and
reading notes. Students might spend additional time in preparing
for quizzes and exams. Students often spend 30 minutes reviewing
for a quiz, four to five hours reviewing for a midterm exam,
and six to ten hours reviewing for a final exam. The review should
be systematic, complete, and organized. In summary, a study plan
should be flexible, and it should include time for new material
and review.
