Combine the sentences below into one paragraph consisting of 11 sentences.

 
1. Marci has been asked to write a composition.
It is her homework.
It is a three-paragraph composition.
 
2. Marci sits at her desk.
She looks at the paper.
She sits and thinks for an hour.
She does not write anything.
 
3. She decides to try two things.
The things may help her concentrate.
The things may help her start writing.
 
4. First, she will think of words about her topic.
She wants as many words as possible.
This process is called brainstorming.
 
5. Second, she writes nonstop for five minutes.
She uses the words.
The words come from her brainstorming.
She does not worry about mistakes.
This process is called freewriting.
 
6. Then, she reads her freewriting.
She summarizes the ideas.
She writes a summary sentence.
She freewrites again.
 
7. Next, she chooses her main points.
She chooses three.
She thinks about some examples.
She arranges them in order of importance.
She writes an informal outline.
 
8. She begins to write.
She writes steadily for an hour.
She writes her first draft.
 
9. Marci is happy when she finishes.
She needs some exercise.
Her fingers are sore.
 
10. The composition isn't finished.
She has written the first draft.
She will write a second draft.
She may write a third draft.
 
11. But, she has started the paper.
She can make changes tomorrow.
