Here is one possible way to combine the sentences into a paragraph with 11 sentences:

1. Marci has been asked to write a a three-paragraph composition for her homework. 2. She sits at her desk, looks at the paper, and sits and thinks for an hour; however, she does not write anything. 3. She decides to try two things that may help her concentrate and start writing. 4. First, she will think of as many words as possible about her topic; this process is called brainstorming. 5. Second, she uses the words come from her brainstorming and writes nonstop for five minutes without worrying about mistakes; this process is called freewriting.6. Then, she reads her freewriting, summarizes the ideas in a summary sentence, and freewrites again. 7. Next, she chooses three main points, thinks about some examples, arranges them in order of importance, and writes an informal outline. 8. She begins to write her first draft steadily for an hour. 9. Marci is happy when she finishes, though she needs some exercise and her fingers are sore. 10. However, the composition isn't finished after she has written the first draft, so she will write a second draft, and she may write a third draft. 11. But, she has started the paper, and she can make changes tomorrow.
