page. Enter 30 words that you want to learn. Listen to the pronunciation.

a correct question!
- Try the three new interactive Activity 25 gap-fill exercises! Listen and
write. Listen and repeat while reading. Listen and repeat without reading
the text.Learn these sleep tips well, both in your mind and in your mouth!
- I am creating new ones, so come back and look several

COC Chapter 4
- Activity 1. Today we discussed Activity
1 in class, and you underlined the best response to each question
about yourself. Please write a complete answer to the 5 questions,
and be prepared to ask and answer with partners in class on Tuesday.
- Activity 2. Read the paragraph next to
each of the five charts. Afterwards, listen to the sound file
to complete the missing information.
- Activity 3. Listen to the sound file and
write the syllable-stress code for the words. Then clap and pronounce
each word.
- Activity 4. Listen to the sound file and
write the dictated sentences.
- Activity 5. Using the context of the sentences
in Activity 4, match each word with its definition.
- Activity 6. Study the phrasal verbs and
fill in the blanks to complete the sentences.
- Activity 7. Copy the pronunciation of
the academic vocabulary from the dictionary. Study the definitions.
If the dictionary provides example sentences, look at how the
word is used in context.
- Activity 8. Listen to the sound file,
clap and pronounce each word.
- Activity 9. Listen to the sound file and
fill in the blanks to complete the sentences.
- Activity 10. Underline the correct word
in each pair to complete the sentences in the paragraph. Use
a dictionary to help you with the meaning and pronunciation of
words.
